If you don't keep your log book up to date, the programme will make a rough estimation of the distances you have covered. The estimation is based on experience we have built up and tested with runners. Most people run gently at first, or have a set route that they like to run. Often, people run further than they record. Either way, the 'estimated' distances can sometimes seem on the high side. If you keep the log book up to date yourself, then an estimation won't be necessary.
